Righto, heres the deal, ordered three things, from three different companies, all via citylink Friday for delivery today, anyone guess the linking problem? :rolleyes:

One order is "lost between collection and delivery depots", one order is plain gone from the consignment tracking, and one order is set for delivery tomorrow?!

Why can't some regulatory commission come in and save my rights! lol
*sighs*...

Delete this if its against the rules, citylink bashing, needed to vent rage. :(
 
Ive been assured I will get the items, and tbh thats not my concern, its the fact I paid for a time because I'm going to a lan party in lincoln, and now its getting dodgy'ily late. Mhmmm might have to drive to pickup a Q6600 somewhere.
 
lol the life hates me bit, is simply cause this is the 12th attempt this week to get all my parts to me, im only missing 2 now :D thats cause for unhappyness, specially since im stepping up from a P3 to a Core2Quad: see sig.

COD4 and company of heroes. In sig :D
The PC im using right now is a ASUS EEE PC hooked upto my 24" TFT, keyboard and mouse and external drive. its doing exceptionally well in the desktop role for work, but its definitely no gaming machine...
 
aww I'm expecting a mate to get a delivery fro me today, (he gets free postage) Hope mine comes through ok :(

I think I must be the only person who has never had an issue with citylink. It's not an area of the country thing either as being a student I've been all over the place and never had a problem.
I really feel for you that you haven't got your stuff as that's sucks but I'm still a big fan of citylink, they've never gone wrong for me.

It powers it @ 1600x900 atm, but theres hacks to get it upto 1920x1200 just cba and im running it at 1:1 pixel maps so it looks fine with a small black border, its also overclocked abit and stuff, runs 3dsmax to the point where its usable as is photoshop.

depends what time it was ordered...if it was before something like 4pm then it might still get dispatched on friday...meaning monday delivery...if after then it would get dispatched today for delivery tomorrow
