What are the features?

  • Terraform the whole area
  • Dig mines and go into gold digging
  • Build houses, walls, forts, castles
  • Hunt down animals with medieval ranged weapons like longbows or crossbows
  • A real chance in winning a fight doesn't depend on your equipment but mostly on your personal fighting skill
  • Open PvP against any player who dares to cross your way
  • Melee combat system comparable to Mount & Blade
  • Full Loot PVP
  • What you own is actually ingame there won't be any AI banks. You just can create local banks in your house like chests and store your stuff there
  • Mounts for riding, mounted combat, and dragging carts
  • A balanced random animal source in the whole map
  • Craft almost anything

Yeah it does look good, I would check it out if it was £15 or something but £25 is a tad to much for early axxs imo.

EDIT: £17 on kinguin I don't mind paying that at all.

I have over 15 games and not a single issue. But life is life m8, no matter what company someone somewhere will have a bad story, and many will not.

BTW this game will crash if you have 7.1 set in windows settings.

How does this work then, say I join 3 months down the line and everyone has a massive town/house can't they just kill me over and over?

Same with how DayZ is when you just spawnkill?

It seems to have a lot of things in place to lower your stats if you were to kill a fresh spawn. Have to see tbh no game has got KOS right yet. But this game does look quite good.

I like. Base building, pvp and swords, shut up and take my money!

I am trying to resist buying an early access game though. I buy them and they never seem to finish, or the developers give up and release a rushed version.

This is doing well in the top charts on steam and kinguin!

..What's it like :) - looks brilliant but hesitant about taking the plunge on another alpha! Dayz burnt me bad!! However this looks right up my street

Think I'm the only on here to own it? It's a bit slow, difficult to figure out certain things, crafting etc. But it's a big time sink I'll say that.

Worth the money in my opinion? Yes. Just gathering the pieces for an axe feels a slight accomplishment with the combat a tad slow, but a weighty feel. I have not figured out houses, skins, leathers etc yet, but shall continue.

Can provide current screenshots if you like?

At above: do you mean performance/fps wise runs bad? if you turn down the tree detail to minimum you should be fine.

You can get an axe in 2 minutes, combat is rubbish as well at this stage. Building is very advanced which is good, but still I would say to others to wait. The game could be amazing but not at this point in time.

Ok, well it felt an accomplishment to me, without tutorials anyway. I'd say it has potential. Combat could be better I agree, it is a bit sluggish.

Agreed it has massive potential, need to see how the devs update and how often. It runs like poo as well tbh at this stage. It is fine on low pop servers though.

I only played alone. Can't even think about how to start building a house, I know you need a mallet, nails, construction desk etc. It's a bit much for me to cope with. Looks like I'll be spending the nights by a tree.

I've been thinking about picking this up for a while now, anyone still actively playing this at the moment on the forum, was just wondering what state the game was in now..?

Early Access. The full release price of a AAA game.

Yeah, no thanks. All these early access games are taking the Michael. The more ambitious the game the more likely it won't deliver anyhow. And that £25 asking price...

This seems to be coming along nicely. I must have sunk 100 hours into just digging out the top of the mountain to build a castle up there with 20 other guys so it's well worth the money. However 1 caveat is that the combat was a bit poor last time I played and you really need a lot of people to play with to get the most out of the game.

They seem to be on target with their roadmap so should be excellent in June and ready for release by the end of the year. What will really be special is the MMO but that won't be until late 2016.
