I want to play this game with a group of people who rented a server, when I try to connect to it, I just get the screen with the rotating hollow sun on it... I waited around a hour on time & no luck... The strange thing it I tried a server from the browser list, got right in, is there a log or something I can check? I posted on the LiF forum also, but want to know what you think...

Port forwarding issue, maybe...?

Maybe, I have not changed any settings accept the DNS server... If I run wireshark & paste the log here will it help?

I've no experience with the game, but how are you connecting to the rented server? Do you not do that through the games browser list?

It could be the server itself and not you if you can connect to one but not the other.
