Allegedly - according to the Telegraph which is almost certainly therefore BS - actors are uncomfortable doing the Loretta/babies scene and want it removed from the show. Given that LoB offended almost an entire world religion this seems an odd thing to be complaining about.

I agree @MikeTimbers

"every man (or woman)"
"to rid himself (or herself)"
"thank you brother (or sister)"

"I want to be a woman. From now on, I want you all to call me Loretta."
"I want to have babies."

It seems no longer to be on religion but on gender instead. Personally, I'm fine with knowing pronouns upfront (he/her/they etc) as our work use it in our emails and so we know upfront how to refer to them. The issue I do have however is when someone goes into a hissy fit for being mis-gendered (not out of malice) because I've met someone new without prior knowledge of their pronoun preference. A polite "please don't call me she, call me they" to correct me would have sufficed and most people would respect being corrected.

So although the film came out in the 70s and was making a mockery of religion, this particular sketch has now inadvertently poked fun on how the gender police over-react, again when mis-gendering is not usually in malice. It needs to work both ways - respect each other.
