Has anyone used their life time isa for EXCHANGE deposit on house buy?

I was under the impression that the lifetime Isa you could use for exchange

The only way for me to make the 10 percent of the deposit on exchange is with my Lisa

I'm hoping to get the sellers to accept 5 percent on exchange from my current account just to make things easy
Any help would be appreciated, online info is sketchy

yeah from what i've read -
LISA bonus can be used as the deposit
HTB ISA bonus is only used on completion

This is what I thought. If the sellers become difficult over 5pc I'll have to push it. I don't think they will

iirc, i remember reading that it takes ~a month for the solicitors to request the LISA bonus from the account/gov, so have to take that extra delay into account
and sometimes they charge a bit more because paperwork

They already have the funds, the solicitor on phone said 'we can't use it for exchang

I wonder if she thinks it's a help to buy or just wrong
