Light fitting help

Hello

I purchased a light without foreword thinking.

I currently have a ceiling rose with a rounded light mount at the top. As seen here:




However, I want to have the below light fitted but its a much larger mount and rectangular

Could this be fitted still? If so, what is the best way around it? The rose cannot be taken down as the ceiling is papered and plastered.

The light is being returned on Monday i was just hoping someone could give me some better news ha

I cannot find a similar light with a rounded top.

Gutted if i am honest.
