Ascendancy was one of the most addictive 4x games I ever played (but then I'm a 4x geek so I guess that applies to 95% of them out there )

And who could forget the music!

Loved Ascendancy, this new game doesn't look particularly great though. Mario Galaxy graphics dont' do it any favours in my book. It might well save itself with gameplay though!

Wow - talk about a blast from the past. Ascendancy was the first game I got for my Pentium 120Mhz machine Loved it although it was slightly easy if you played as that robot race.
