Light switch - 1-way/2-way?

Hi all,

I need 3 replacement light switches for a single room, which all operate 2 ceiling lights (if that matters). I want 3 normal 1-gang switches like this.

I imagine it's glaringly obvious but - how many 'way' switches do I need for the above to work. 1-way, 2-way, 3-way doesn't seem to exist? What does the 'way' mean

Thanks.

1-Way: Switch is "on" in one position and "off" in the other
2-Way: The switch can represent "on" or "off" in either position

To be honest, most switches I look at are 2-Way as this works for all wiring conditions, however, simply put, if you have a situation where a single switch controls one (or more) lights then a 1-way switch will do, however if you have a situation where multiple switches can control a single circuit (think a landing light with a switch at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top) then you will need a 2-way.
