Light-up Mouse mats?

I'm sure i've seen them before, mouse mats with an outer light / LED around the edge of the mat? Think they're power'ed by USB or somthing?

Could anyone tell me what they're called please, if I havn't just made them up that is

Is it just me? I find this all too yesterday, illuminated pc cases everywhere, young folks with neon lights on their car under bodies, illuminated tyre-valve caps, blue-lights in wipers, illuminated bloody training shoes, mobile phone antennas... Aaargh!! :mad:

Agreed on the cars bit, looks disgusting.

As for pc's depending on how clean you mod it can look awesome.

i dissagree with both of your comments, modded car's can you look very good (as long as it's discreatly done, and has a clean finish to it, and isn't OTT) same as pc cases, some can look really neat and tidy others look a mess of lights!

but on mobile phone antenna's i fully agree with you there

should be outlawed

I relent a bit about pc cases -an illuminated window and keyboard adds a unique ambiance to a room at night.

A lot of the bling cases look like the robot character 'Box' from Logan's Run.

a lot of the younger people like this sort of thing.

Any way back to the point, i dont need a new mat anymore i think my mouse is roat off. Pointer keeps sticking now and again, and i've tryed a spare mat i found and that didn't fix it. It's either wireless interfearance, the mouse, or the mats i've tryed :\

You know, that is SO true -and exactly how it should be.

I used to get up to all kinds of malarkey when I was 17 and had me first motor. At that age, nature programs you to think car decals, spotlights and huge drainpipe exhausts look cool and you are also conditioned that everyone watching loves the noise. I also had my stereo going boom boom at loud volume to MC the grateful passers-by, as every young lad (and lass) seems to do today as well.

After 35 it all seems a bit.. expected.. so you go undercover... an RS6 Avant instead of an Impreza sort of thing, James Whale on the radio instead of boom boom. Or occassionally Status Quo. Ok better quit now
