I bought an Asaka Cold Cathode Ray tube for my Cosmos II case and Im pretty disappointed with it. It does not seem to chuck out much light at all. I basically wanted some thing that would light up the top fans, it only partly succeeds.

Has anyone got any recommendations for some better lighting options?

:)

Buy a roll of led strip lighting in whatever colour you like even RGB if you fancy the options. Cut it down to your size and solder on a molex connector.
Available cheapest off the rainforest I have found

The pre made stuff is really expensive. Thats the way to go though (LED Strip) looks really good.

Wonder how much you need to light up a case

I have strip pf white of around 30cm long in my case which I think it probably too much as it is really bright
When I do it again I will use two strips of 10cm, one on top and one on the bottom to get a more even distribution
Although my case is nowhere near as big inside as the Cosmos

The 5m roll I brought was £11

I just want it to light the top bit where the 3 fans go tbh. Sounds like even the smaller strip would do if its that bright.

heres mine :)
