Lighting riddle - not led - not cold cathode - what am I?

Hi guys,

Unless I'm going crazy (possible) I'm sure at some point I saw a new style of light bar available that wasn't using leds and wasn't cold cathode but gave that continuous style light you get with cold cathode.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about please? Now want to look into it for a new build and can't find it anywhere (if it ever existed!)

Nm - it was this kit I was thinking of https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...-led-strip-combo-set-400mm-x-2-ca-09s-pt.html - it just diffuses enough to make it not seem like LEDs!
