lighting voltage expert help

Hi, i am trying to source some sort of voltage regulator for a lighting system. The lights are going to be used for stop motion animation. Its paramount the light intensity doesn't change when i plug them into the current electrical system, at present they flicker when anything else on that circuit is switched on or off. The lights use three pin plugs. I need helps please.:D

Its the mains power. Its lights and showers in the house that are causing the lights to dim. The power goes out to a shed that we use. Halogen light bulbs. we have about four free standing lights

Basically, you haven't got enough supply to the shed. Yoou might not even have enough to the house!
Don;t shower whilst doing it? I am surprised that house lights would cause dimming on everything else though.

mostly the shower really. So their is no way to keep the power constant and the lights at one level? can you get a ups or power regulator for lights?
