Lightning issue and heaven

I ran it at 1100/1500, stock volts and i got a score of over 1900 in heaven 3 at recommended settings in the heaven thread. Temps were upto around 69C at 60% fan speed.

I overclocked it to 1140/1525 and started getting artefacts so increased the voltage to 1195. Temps were around 60C (much lower than at 1100 core). Still artefacts, went all the way back down to stock and I still get artefacts and temp are around 60C. GPU usage is showing correctly at 99/100% usage always in heaven.

Min frames at 1100 were around 39fps and at 1140 its down to 30/31fps. Going back down to stock its the same 30/31 were as before at 1100 it was 39ish....

The last score i got at 1140/1525 (with artefacts) was 1600points and temps at 60C.

Whats going on?

Min fps of 30 is normal. Your score was lower with 1140 because the overclock is unstable.

But going back down to everything stock, still gives a much lower score. And my min frames at 1100 were much higher.

Hmm, well I shut it down flipped the bios switch. And i get overclocked it to 1100 again and the score was back up to 1900 again.

So does restarting fix this issue?

In one word, yes

Changing bios seems to help. Started at 925mhz upped it to 1150/1550 and i get this...Max temp in heaven 62C a lot higher in kombustor but not about 70C after few mins. EDIT- actually its at 77C at 85% fan speed after 5 mins.. umm ok to go to 85C?

81C after 15mins with 93% fan speed, this seems ok to me...
