Lightroom 4 Beta is now available to download on the Adobe website:

Not had a chance yet but it looks like a decent package, held off with LR3 on the black friday deals so lets just see how much it will retail at!

I was going to do the same but bought a cheap copy instead so then I will just buy the upgrade edition to lr4 for what £70?

I love LR3 I wish I'd starting using it earlier.

Question about the beta, it doesn't over write the lr3 program does it?
 
Thanks. If I buy the upgrade edition to Lightroom 4 from 3, do they then allow you to do the same next time to 5. So far have you been able to upgrade like this every new revision?

I will download the beta tomorrow.

Yup.

I've gone 1->2->3.

Although my download finished early and given I can't import libraries I can't be bothered.

I'm sure it will be nice when it comes out tho.
 
Mines been a little buggy :( and that was with only a single raw file imported. Will give it a proper bash tomorrow.

From what I can tell it is a full working copy until the end of March. I have had a quick go on all of the "develop" tools, not tried the other tools yet, however the develop tools seem to be a full set plus a few extras.
 
Looks like it now has a few of the features that Aperture had which Lightroom didn't before.

I'm sure we will see a new version of Aperture sometime soon as well.
 
Quite nice, however I'm stuck on uninstalling this from my Mac. Any ideas how to do this as it's not as simple as dragging to the trash.
