I have the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan licence but when I launch either on a Mac, it comes back with Error 205.. not much else information.

I've read that this could be a corrupt installation ... but I've uninstalled everything a number of times, including running the Creative Cloud cleaning tool, reloaded but I get the same error each time.

I have also upgraded the os to the Big Blur..

Any ideas?
 
Contact Adobe via their webchat and ask for links to offline installers, run the cleaning tool again, restart, then try the offline install.

Ensure there's no Office (Microsoft 365) or Adobe processes running before trying the offline install.
 
I did the above, - thank you. Took an hour to sort out but the chap did it.

Apparently, the Mac update corrupted a few files which corrupted the login credentials, causing an invalid login each time.

All fixed.
