Lightroom Back Up Question

Need to reformat my Windows 7 Laptop tomorrow. Not been done for a while.

I have and use Lightroom 4. Is it just a matter of clicking back up etc?


Just not done it before and do not wish to screw anything up from within my lightroom program.

If you want your pictures to be part of the library, you need to specify that, otherwise when you back up, you backup a library filled with meta information but no actual photos.
