Hi All

I've just transferred my Lightroom catalogue and all my photos from a Windows PC to a MacBook but now my Folders panel in the Library section is missing my folder structure. Instead all of my folders are just in a huge great list which isn't very useful to me.

On the Windows PC my photos were stored in C:\Users\<username>\Pictures\Archive\<year>\<location> and in Lightroom under the Folders panel, I could see the C Drive as the top level with Archive directly below it, then the <year> folders as sub folders under that and finally the <location> folders as sub sub-folders under that.

C Drive
- Archive
- - Year
- - - Location

When I moved the photos and catalogue over, obviously they are in a different location (C:\Users doesn't exist in MacOS) so I re-linked all the photos labelled as missing but now under the Folders panel, all I can see is "Macintosh HD" and a large list of <location> folders.

Macintosh HD
- <location>
- <location>
- <location>

The new location of my photos is \Users\Pictures\<username\Archive\<year>\<location> so really the only thing thats changed with the structure is the very beginning.

How do I get my folder structure back in Lightroom? I can't remove and re-import my photos because I'll lose all the edits.

And I have just resolved it!

So right clicking on the <location> folders and selecting "Show Parent Folder" shuffled the list round and I now have my folder structure back!
