I only use my own. I've watched a few tutorials on youtube on different effects/styles and it's all interesting.
I am curious as to what settings the likes of VCSO are using but for me they are just too expensive to justify to look into. Since I don't own or have used or understand the film types it's trying to emulate they would just be wasted on me, but they seem to be well regarded.

There was a thread on here with links to free presets, although they were all probably LR3 it was so long ago! I've picked up some free ones from OnOne when they release them, I did recently grab a load of free ones that a chap released through his blog but they're not titled so a pain to use (they are 365 of them). I did buy some a while back (Gavin Seim). I'm all for paying for them if it saves me spending my limited free time trying to work out my own, if I did have free time though...
