So to update the post, I have finally got the bridge mode working. The settings that I applied were the same as earlier mentioned (ipv6, DCHPv6 with prefix) no vlan needed.
Nothing else changed but its now working, so dont know why the previous setup failed, must be some change in the firewalls somewhere, but all told now working.
