Lightweight photo editing software for cropping images to a set resolution

Can't be bothered installing photoshop just to do this.

IrfanView might be worth a look. It can do batch conversions on a load of files, convert, crop resize etc and you can get it to rename the outputs and/or save to a different location.

It's not a full on editor but for viewing and manipulating images it is pretty good.

I'd recommend 'Resize' and 'JCrop'

Very good, very lightweight. I use them daily.

paint.net is a good super cut down alternative to photoshop..

it's one of those apps that could easily pass as MS software, in a good way
