Lightweight voice calling application

I am looking to find a lightweight, and free alternative to MSN voice calling and Skype.

Skype causes me major issues when I play TF2, as my ping jumps all over the place when the video is switched on.

Does anyone know of a lightweight video calling application that won't cause major lag, and won't be as funny as Skype sometimes is. Sometimes it just drops the call for no reason etc.

Any ideas would be great thanks.

Video calling while playing games is not really a good thing, Ventrilo is the best for chatting while gaming.

Whoops, didn't see the video part...

You've got no chance of a lightweight video calling app that won't take bandwidth away from any gaming.

Yeah. I thought that would be the answer. I will just switch off my video when I'm playing TF2 =)
