currently have 3 x Dell U2410's and was wondering if it would be worth me moving to 1 of these instead?

Normally run an Eyefinity group that spans across the whole screen and this is run from a 7970 and have a w/c 2500K running at 4.5 Ghz(I did have it all in my sig, but after 14 months of it being ok, i found out today it was not, having go the the fated yellow test in there)

Would be flogging the 3 U2410's and also the XFX stand that I have them mounted on, so can recoup some of the outlay there (keep an eye on the MM if I do go for it :D:D)

Your current setup is a lot bigger than the dell 29, if your comfortable with moving to a much smaller screen then I would consider it.

No borders between screens to worry about and much easier to run games at max settings.

If only there was a 35" ultra wide screen.....

35" ultra would be very nice indeed.

Realise it si a big step down from the screen real estate I have now, but as I am about to move house (and will have another 2 moves in the next 12 months) am looking at this with my practical head on.....

Don't really mind the bezels tbh, kind of zone them out, but woould be refreshing to not have them I suppose.

Max settings would also be a boon. Mostly play FSX, SWTOR and am very much looking forward to Star Citizen / Squadron 42 coming out

Just had an epiphatree moment driving back from work.

Remembered that I have 3 x 24" Benq HDBL's in a box and could use 2 of them on the periphery if I wanted to go silly wide screen :eek::eek::eek:

Don't forget if you were thinking of running the game across all 3 that Eyefinity has to run all screens at the same resolution - so your central ultrawide screen would be running at 1920x1080. Depending on the monitor settings this would mean either very short fat people on the screen, or very wide virtual bezels between the middle screen usable area and the side ones.

Personally, I love my 3 (now 3+1) screen set up even after a good few years, and couldn't imagine going back to a single screen, even an ultrawide one.

The appalling vertical height of these screens is really putting me off. As above, we need 35"+ ultra wide panels please!
