This is the lot going in it - am I going to have a problem? And will the cables be long enough?

For that sort of rig neither are totally ideal.

The Wavemaster is built better, and looks better in my opinion, but its cooling will be loud or quiet and not so good, fine if your not going to overclock and my choice.

The TJ05 has some issues with resonation, quite bad ones usually and it seems to be like most silverstones over-priced, the cooling at a noise level is more acceptable but the resonation may cause issues.

For that rig, personally I would seriously consider the Akasa Eclipse, best cooling case there is and would allow you to overclock to no tommorrow if thats your thing, but the plastic front does not make it much of a looker.

The Thermaltake Soprano, looks similar to the other cases, is built to a OK standard, but offers good cooling, at a reduced price.

The PC7+ is also a good idea, as it is the compromise between ultimate cooling and looks, subtle and stylish but no door, same with the eclipse aswell.

It all depends on what you are going for really, the wavemaster out of the first two you listed would get my money (and did) but the cooling is not suitable for a heavily overclocked rig, will run the rig you have there fine at stock though.

80mm fans, if you replace them with 80mm SilenX ones they will make a huge difference when running at 7v.

It is all down to what you want in the case.

My opinion is it is a primitive design done very, very, very well.

The whole point of that case is to shove as many cfm through it as it possibly can.

You could probably stop a oven from cooking if it was in a stacker, and yes it is almost big enough :p

Word of warning on the newer coolermasters and in general.

They have a bad bit of quality control at the moment, if you get a good case you are laughing, but if you get a bad one there support is non-existent and they do not acknowledge there is a problem :(

It is rare to get a bad case, but it is deffinately not unheard of.

It is more me saying, if you get one and it starts falling apart while you are building it, send it back to the retialer and get another one, as coolermaster wont help you 4 months later.

It is a sorry state of affairs as I used to buy only Coolermaster, but now there quality and control procedures and customer support are beaten by the re-vamped thermaltake.

Thank god coolermasters pricing and designs are still ahead of them, as calling thermaltake thermaltack is easy, coolermaster is hard to pun :(

Overall the stacker is a great case, but I would take the Eclipse over it personally due to it being its equal at cooling, has great customer support and they are all built very well.

There are the Lian Li cases aswell you know :p

Best built cases around .period.

That do it?

They look good, everyone who gets one rates them very highly, they offer a good balance between performance and cooling, look great in person and have a high re-sale value, with low depreciation, they actually go up in value when they get discontinued, all Lian Li cases do :)

The bad points of the case, it can take a few hours of tinkering around to get the best cooling for your system, as it is a refined cooling solution throwing in a higher CFM fan can do nothing for the case, and there are 9 different combinations + ducting to try of the fans to find the best for your case.

Or you can just use the manufacturers default which is usually very good :)

Hi there, basically in a nutshell-

-Coolermaster 830 for cooling performance and some nifty tricks (which I love).

-Lian Li V1000+ (dont like the V1100, blocks the front intake so you just have a grill on the bottom, plus the V1000 looks better)- Has style, build quality and looks great! But cooling is not as good as a 830 (actually the 830 has really good cooling). Also, you NEED a CPUHS that blows air down rather than out of the case, as the intake fan will interfere with it.

My reccomendation-

Coolermaster 810, has the build quality of the V1000+ and the performance of the 830 :). Plus, it has acres of space and you can fit just about any cooling solution inside it (apart from phase maybe).

Thanks for the feedback guys - I know Lian Li are a great make, but I just don't really like the looks - just personal taste I guess.

I think I will go for the 830 - has good cooling, loads of space for my Crossfire setup (future expansion) and has unique looks.

Thanks again. :D

Hope you enjoy the case, none mentioned here are bad cases by anyones imagination.

There are some threads on the 830 on the front page of case central if you have not spotted them.

Actually I think I'm going to go for the TJ05 and spend the difference on new speakers and 5.1 headset. Just trying to find out if the LCD thing comes with the TJ05 as standard.

I don't like cases without doors. :(

I like the idea of a black case with blue led fans inside - matches my Razer mouse and Saitek keyboard. :D

I think TJ05 will look great like this. Also got HK Creature black speakers.
