When I load up the game, the screen goes black and the power LED on my monitor flashes three times (which apparently means that the output is either not supported or the res is not supported).

I know the game loads as I can hear the intro playing.

Anyone else had this issue?

I run games in 1680 x 1050, im sure my computer could manager better but it looks pretty enough to me. If anyone could help I would apprecaite it.

Thanks for the comments guys, I only have a single monitor hooked up (its an apple monitor - the old 20 inch flat screen display). I play a whole lot of games and never had any problems. Graphics card is HIS ATI Radeon HD 5870 iCooler V 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
 
Have you tried Alt-Enter to switch to windowed mode when you can hear music? Maybe you can set a supported resolution from there
 
I can alt tab to my hearts content but as far as I can tell there isnt a way to alter the res that the game loads in.

Running Windows 7 64 bit

Loading it as we speak........AND..........it didnt work :/

I can hear the intro playing, I can alt tab out of the game but alt enter does sod all (on everything else it switches between full screen and windowed mode).

Any ideas?
 
Bought it in steam sale so assume its fully patched up.

Still not working :(

Might go for the ol' uninstall and reinstall see if that makes any difference. Is there a way of changing the load res from a file somewhere?
 
Glad for you :) Is it any good in your opinion? I loved Driver back in the PS1 days, never bothered with the series after though
