Is a java app, will run on just about any OS, and is it ME or 2000, they are 2 wildly different things.

It's not great for single songs though. Limewire has its uses

you could always use shareaza if you dont like the java interface. i know i dont, its such a system hog.

Bittorrent is fine for single files. Just choose the 'Do not download' Option for anything you don't want to download.

Personally I perfer DC++, xDCC Servers, Sharaza and Torrents and Newsgroups for HD content.
