Limewire closing when Laptop lid is opened (Vista!)

Grr Limewire. Why anyone uses programs like that is beyond me. I used it once a long time ago, but everything you downloaded was corrupt and there were not restrictions. Torrent is the only way I download now, I only download legal stuff of course :)
 
limewire is a pile of crap, my little brother installs it all the time, even the pro one is terrible

causes problems tbh

like that weird cd drive dissapearing one :D
 
Im using the latest limewire and have had no problems. I tried uTorrent but its ultra slow, a lot slower than limewire :(
 
utorrent maxes out every connection i've used, you're just using crap torrents or not setting it up correctly

For a start the two programs are completely different, you can't compare the two. And secondly the slow downloads you may have experienced have nothing to do with uTorrent, they are to do with the amount of seeders and leechers you had present on that particular torrent.

I'm asuming the ports hae to be setup manually for Limewire the same as uTorrent?

P.S. Gotta love Discworld, Rincewind, one of the best characters in Fiction.
