Limit amount of restore points?

Aftering installing a new SSD for games and programs I noticed my boot drive was using 20GB more data than usual. After checking around I noticed the drive itself had about 8 copies, and clearing all the restore points except the most recent one gave me back the space.

Is there a way to limit the amount of restore points saved or the amount of space it uses? 20GB just on restore points on a 64GB boot drive doesn't leave much free space .

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to mention, using Windows 7.

selec c:
configure
use slider to configure disk space used
