Limited Connectivity Problem

I am currently using the Netgear DG834N wireless modem router of which I have my laptop, xbox 360 & desktop pc connected to.

The 360 is connected via ethernet.

The problem I have is that my laptop is fine but the desktop PC is showing limited connectivity & is not identifying the network.

Up until a few days ago the desktop was working fine.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

are your pc and laptop wireless?

Yes. The desktop is using the WN311T wireless card.

Like I say it was working fine a few days back.

limited or no connectivy means its got a connection, but no IP address

you can verify this by launching a command prompt (start >> run >> cmd >> ok) and typing in ipconfig

that will show what IP address your PC has been assigned. If its not got one, it will revert back a 169.x.x.x. address.

try re-creating the connection profile that contains the ssid, authentication, and encryption settings.

I have even tried uninstalling & re-installing the driver. Still no joy.
