Hi
I'm setting up a wireless network. My PC "wired" to the adsl/router (wifes laptop to be wireless)
I'm receiving an error message "limited or no connectivity" for my ethernet connection which I have found to be a bug in XP service pack 2.
This happens when the modem is trying to acquite an IP address.
I found the solution to the problem on google. However, I get the following error message trying to fix the registry:
"You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor"
Please can anyone tell me how to get the fix (below) into the registry.
Thanks for any help

If you are receiving this error, you should run the Microsoft patch (KB884020) for it. Follow the instructions below to do this.
1) Download the patch from Microsoft's site
2) Run the update to install it
3) Run this short Registry fix to complete the update. Type the following lines in Notepad and save the file as FixReg.reg on your desktop, then double click on it to install into your registry.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IPSec]
"AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule"=dword:00000002
