Limiting my brothers machine? bandwidth wise?

Hi all,

I'm running a Mac Pro and my brothers windows machine is connected via ethernet to the DG834G

How I limit the bandwidth he's using?

He is continuously downloading porn/music (I'm not kidding) and is making my net almost unusable, if I unplug the cable I get yelled at by everyone in the family.

this is probably better of in networks, as it'll be a change you need to make in your router

I am interested in this as well - got the same situation except my brother and I are connecting wirelessly to the same router.

I've checked for softwares and they're often needed to install on to windows and throttle on there - which can be easily removed via delete.

Use a program called NetLimiter (PC)

You can select his download speeds, and even displays usage stats.

It's free and if you change the name to winehost.exe he shouldn't suspect the running program
