After some advise. Some years ago when i was playing a lot of guitar this unit was the must have device for guitar effects on a budget. Ive seen it now for £99. Is this still the cheapo one to get or have things moved on significantly in the last couple of years?

Any help appreciated.

friends that have got it say that its really good, U'd have to test it our for yourself, KORG have some nice new multi effects out (well not that new)

I have a Guitarport, Pod v2 and Floorpod and they are excellent units for the studio.
Match them with a Line 6 Variax and you 've got every sound at your fingertips.

Try and find the XT version if you can, it has a totally revamped set of amp models and effects, you can probably find it for £130 ish now.

Do you mean this???
"GuitarPort and RiffTracker 2" £129INC

Also, do you know if this products have a good tremelo effect? I love 60s music and really like the vox ac30 tremolo sound so would like this available if possible.

I haven't seen the XT for less then £200 new. Rifftracker you can download and try for free, it just won't let you record til you get a licence.

ah, just that a guy above thought it could probably had for about 130 now. Would be gutted to spend 200 only to find it later for 130!

The Guitarport is a computer based only product and Rifftracker is software that comes with it.
If you want to take the unit out with you then you're looking at a POD, Floorpod or PODXT Live.

XT is a model number that has extra bits (eg more amps, links with PC etc) and is put on their pedals including the POD XT and POD XT Live.
