Line Attenuation help?

Hi,

ive noticed my Line attenuation is dropping and going up.

Its just below 50db. but it goes up and down when it wants too.

I know the SNR margin does this but I didn't think the line attenuation would do this?

is it connected to master/test socket?

no to the third extension on the wall.

Ive got a filtered ADSL master socket, NTE5 and have upgraded the wire to some cat 6, but it was doing it before I upgraded it all but at a higher line attenuation.
