I've been fiddling about with my sounds on my PC, as I want to play my wii and PS3 through the line-in input on my PC so it goes through my speakers. I've managed to get it working fine where the 'line' device shows up on the recording tab, but this only allows me to record the sound from the device.
I was wondering if there is any way in Vista to change this to a 'Playback' device so that it plays back like any other sound on my PC.

Should have probably put in the actual sound card I'm using. It's a Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit. I've just discovered unplugging it actually makes it play back the sound from the line in, which suprised me as I thought it would need the power from my PC. Although the sound is VERY quiet, I have to turn my speakers up full to get it at a normal level, which usually you'd be able to hear the sound from the bottom of the street with them this loud.
