I've got myself enough cables here to reach to the moon and back, but I finally have my Wii connected to my VGA monitor using a fancy Gadmei box. The box has an internal speaker that plays the wii sound fine, but ideally I'd like a way to connect the line-out from the box to the line-in on my PC, so I can listen to it through my headphones, so I can easily switch from using the PC to playing on the Wii without needed to mess around with my headphones, unplugging them from my PC and sticking them into the box.

tldr; how can I get my pc to play over my headphones what its recieving through the line-in.

OS: Vista ultimate 32-bit
Sound card: Creative Xtreme gamer.

You need a switch box and a headphone amplifier. About £30 for the switchbox, and probably same again for the headphone amp.

Or you could just buy a Hi-Fi pre-amp with headphone stage. Built in switching, volume, multiple outputs and headphone amp socket.
