Hi guys, I was testing the sockets to see if a NTE5 faceplate would be worthwhile and found something else more confusing, I need a second pair of more experienced eyes on this:

Clearly a increase of 1.5dB attenuation through house wiring isn’t something that can really be avoided but what really confused me was the modems refusal to Sync any faster than 2272 whilst on the test socket, I first assumed they had thrown me on a fault-tolerant profile for messing about as nothing I did would change it, but back in the office it was normal again, any idea why?
