Lines on monitor screen?

Hey guys.

I've noticed some very faint white lines coming down my monitor, I've noticed on near enough all apps and games.

I've got a screenshot as an example, I've clearly marked where the lines are with the black lines.

Is my monitor ready to break?

I tried my brothers monitor (he has the exact same monitor as mine) and I didn't notice any lines.

Looks like my monitor is bust.

Nah mate, it's over 2 years old now sadly.

Oh well, it lasted well and still isn't totally noticeable yet.
