Lines through screen on higher refresh rate

I bought an MSI Optix MAG241c a few years back, all was fine until a few months back I started getting this issue when I booted my computer. I found I could fix the problem by lowering the refresh rate down, but after some testing if I keep it at 144Hz from boot over time the lines get closer and closer to the bottom until it's all gone and the screen is back to normal. Just now it took 10 minutes and got my GPU to 50 Celsius, but GPU is like 2 weeks old, and this problem started a few months ago, so I can't see that being the problem. Can anyone help

Have a read around the internet there quite a few people with this or similar.

Is it particulary cold in your room where the monitor is ? Few are repoting it only happens during the colder months.

try get a hairdryer and GENTLY warm the monitor see if it goes away quicker....just to confirm this.
