This company must be making a fortune.
After seeing my sister and her fiance this afternoon whereupon he told me that he'd bought 3 new tyres for her car (peugeot 307) i looked over and to my surprise saw the word Linglong on each of them, I say surprise as he's had some decent cars when he was younger, and he's definately not short of cash (he'd spent £2200 on an engagement ring today). I questioned him and said those are the cheapest, most crap tyre you could have possibly bought, he smiled and replied, "Yep, £180 for three!". When i inferred that they are so crap they could be dangerous all he had to say was "They're round, new and black". And being a woman my sister doesn't really know anything or care.
Then i realised how many people must think the same way, i.e. a tyre is a tyre, as long as it's legal. Among the general populace Linglong must sell like hot cakes, generally being the cheapest "round black" things you can buy.
Whereas logic would dictate that if anything tyres are something that you do spend good money on, considering they're the only thing keeping you attached to the road and heading in the right direction. I gave up arguing as it would get nowhere.
Absolute beggars belief.
