Linking a PWM cha fan to CPU temps - Gigabyte Z170 Gaming-5

I have a couple of Silencio PWM fans in the roof of my 88r which I would like to ramp up from 700rpm to 1400rpm when the CPU fan starts to become audible under load, no point keeping them silent if something else is making noise!

I'm currently using the SIV software from Gigabyte for custom fan profiles, however the cha fan channels are not linked to the CPU temps like the CPU fan. I'm not sure which temp they are linked to but this temp doesn't rise very much so therefore I can't make the cha fans ramp up.

Is there a way to link these fans to CPU temp instead of the other temp?

I have tried SpeedFan but it doesn't give me any option to change the fans so I must be missing a trick there, plus I don't find the UI very user friendly!

Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

Not sure this is what you want, but I use PWM splitters that can take 4-5 fans and use PWM signal from CPU fan header with power from PSU. Only possible problem is all fans on splitter are using same PWM signal. Depending on what fans rpm ranges are some may be louder than you want when PWM signal is at high percentages.

I noticed a CPU OPT header next to the CPU FAN header so perhaps I could run a Y splitter off that for the 2 fans?

I'll get a splitter ordered, cheers!
