Well I'm sick of how unreliable wireless is, it never works properly unless you're in a thin walled new build or similar.
Rental property and I'm not prepared to go running cables, due to the location of the router it will involve chasing stone walls (router located in the corner where an internal wall and load bearing wall intersect) so it's really a no go in terms of cost to make it a decent job.
I've bought a couple of homeplugs to hook my desktop to the router, I was wondering, can I run a switch off the homeplug at one end to fuel my desktop, laptop, xbox and media player? Or is there something prohibitive of this?
