Linking directly to a steam game

Hey guys.

I am just setting up my object dock and want to have a direct link to a couple of my steam games on it, however it seems I can only get a direct link to steam. Does anyone know a funky way of linking straight to the games rather than to steam and then going through like that?

Find the game in Steam, right click 'Send shortchut to Desktop' then put that in your Dock

I have no idea why I couldn't see that option before... I think the 8 hours sleep in 3 days... and the mass intake of alcohol will be what I will blame!
