My phone bills are around £200 per month and I really need to find a way to cut them down so im looking at VOIP.

What I want to do is get a geographical number (UK and US) and have them routed to my IP phone and also make calls using VOIP without needing my PC to be on.

I found these 2 products.
The lniksys PAP2 will only cost me around £20

or Sipura SPA-3000 which is around £85

any comments would be appreciated

I use the Linksys with Vonage, it seems pretty robust, haven't needed to configure it though, as it was all done by vonage, so it was plug and go.

I've got a PAP2 and its working fine.

Set up a sipgate account for free UK number, and create a ipkall account for free forwards to the sipgate number.. still leaves you a spare port on the PAP2 you can use for sipdiscount, voipstunt, etc.. If that doesnt cut your bill I dont know what will.. I've been calling the whole of Europe free for 4-5 months now, great stuff.
