I'm currently trying to get hold of a newer linksys router (WAG54G) firmware.
But their website never tends to load.. i'v attempted this every 3 months or so and i have never managed to do it.

once i got firmware but then i was having trouble accesing the router from my PC.

has anyone ever succesfully managed to upgrade the firmware? and is there anywhere else i can get firmwares on the internet + do you think its time i get a new router?

the problem i get with this router is that in every 2 months intervals for a week we get so much cuttoffs from the internet. one moment it loads and other it doest. its not useful when playing games or downloading stuff as we have to do it all over again.

thankyou,
Shimy

Have you registered your router on their Website?
I had this problem also. I've got the Linksys WRT55AG Dual-Band A+G Broadband Wireless Router. I emailed them and they advised me to register the product on their Website, then I should be able to download firmware from my Linksys account. After I registered there were 2 versions of my router on there, V1.0 and V2.0. Could for the life of me find my version anywhere on the router, router settings or packaging. V1.0 for some reason had newer firmware than V2.0 so I downloaded that, but when I tried to update the router with the firmware it told me incorrect firmware for device (or something like that). Didn't bother downloading the V2.0 firmware as the firmware that was already on my router was newer than that.

whats going on
it seems as if i have the newest firmware. too new that its not even on there website
i have 1.02.7

what they have for v1.0 1.02.1
v1.2 1.02.1
v2.0 1.01.17 for annex A
1.01.15 for annex B

and what does annex A and B mean?
