Hey everyone,

Just having a problem with the Linksys WUSB54GSC 54Mbps SpeedBooster Wireless USB 2.0 Network Adapter:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-067-LS&groupid=46&catid=1002&subcat=220

This is for Vista 32-bit, the driver was installed, then the network adapter plugged in, all seemed okay and it detected my wireless connection, and i could browse the net. Restarted the PC, then the PC said it was not connected to a network, so i thought okay ill connected it to the wireless again, i tried but the wireless network would not show up. The actuall UDB adaptor won't even show up anywhere now it seems, i tried to reinstall the driver too.. but that didn't work.

its strange as when it worked, it seemed fine, under ipconfig/all it was displayed with its MAC address too, but now its not detected, not even under device manager.

One other thing i noticed was that when its plugged in, the green light is very dim, one time i pulled it out, plugged it back in and it was bright, and now its always dim.

So maybe i could try uninstalling the drivers that are currently there, but not sure where it has placed them. But i have no idea why the PC dosen't pick it up when i plug it in?! :S

any ideas?

Thanks :)
