Hello,
I have recently purchased a Linksys WAG160N router to replace my BeBox (which would restart itself randomly - apparently because it reached it's maximum connections limit?!). I have set it up, it works perfectly and I am getting my full 16mb internet over wireless (when the BeBox could only provide 8!).
However, I have come across one rather major flaw. Whenever I, or any other user, run uTorrent (although I think it could be any P2P file-sharing application) and begin to download something, the router will just fall flat on it's face within maybe 15-30seconds (definitely under a minute, meaning it is quite obvious that uTorrent has caused it to crash).
My attempts at googling have shown me that other users have experienced similar problems, but those reports are fairly old now. I have updated the router to the latest firmware, but the issue still seems to be occuring.
Has anyone here had/heard of this problem before and know a way to fix it?
Thanks,
Simon
(Note: I'm not at the same location as the router for the weekend, so I wouldn't be able to look up any settings for a couple of days.)
