Linksys WAG354G Firmware Confusion

Hi

Recently my WAG354 has been refusing to connect to the net unless its reset to factory settings and then it works fine. This continues for a few days and then happens again at which point another reset fixes it. Its starting to annoy me so I thought I will try updating the firmware.

However when I visit the Linksys site im informed there are 2 versions of the WAG354, version 1.0 and version 2.0. How do I find out which version I have because the pictures for each product are the same so I dont know which firmware to use.

look at the label were the SN is, it will tell you there what revision you have

i would expect it to be v1, i have had similar issues with print servers and normally the wrong firmware won't load anyway

Aye i tried the v2 firmware and it rejected it, tried v1 and it patched it fine. And mine doesnt show the revision near the serial number either.
