I'm picking up the Linksys WAG54GS tomorrow, has anyone here got one, and if so how do you rate it.

The reviews on this are 50/50 and i have read many so i would like anyone with hands on use of this to let me know how it preforms for them.

Mikol Iv'e tried flashing mine with the firmware you got and i get the msg ....

Upgrade failed.

Please obtain the correct file and try again.



Any ideas ?
 
What version have you got mate? Should be on the bottom of the router somewhere.

ive got 1.0.06 its the latest stable firmware BUT, not the release you have.

This firmware does not work on the WAG54GS ? its the WRT54GS ? Yes ? Or Neigh......

EDIT : I have the WAG54GS these are nice routers but need another firmware upgrade to sort out the telnet issue, as you can't telnet, and also sort out the line stats issue, you cant get adsl line stats. Apart from that these routers are stable with the latest firmware.

I have the WAG54G its old don't show them stats, going to pick up the WAG54GS in a min.
