I bought my first wireless router today the Linksys WAG354G with the PCMCIA card. As seen here: http://www-uk.linksys.com/servlet/S...691612&pagename=Linksys/Common/VisitorWrapper
(Also had a good laugh at the yes men - and woman in purple shirts.)
I connected it all up, put the PCMCIA card into the laptop, plugged all my networked devices to it, security and the rest. OK. All that works fine.
The problem is when I ping somewhere I get pings in the low 20's instead of around 10 with my Speedtouch 510v4.
Second point is tracert doesn't work, which seems to be a problem with this series. Was this fixed in a later firmware release?
Thanks, Trif.
As I have made a new thread anyway; according to the online calculations these stats shouldn't be getting over 2Mb... I download at 4~5...
