Linksys WRT54G internet problems

Hello,

Since I got this router I am:
Unable to get on particular sites directly ( Nvidia.com, gamershell) while i can get to them through a proxy.
Also can't seem to be able to download anything through http/ftp from my browser, they just time out ( my downloads ).
Any idea's?

EDIT: I am able to download something, but nothing from microsoft .
Very odd.

Problem with MTU?
Check what your machine is set to use, and try reducing what the router's set to use (1400 bytes is as good a starting point as any).
