I've just received the above wireless adapter to replace a WUSB300N as it didn't like my new hardware and as the WUSB600N has Windows 7 drivers I thought It wouldn't hurt to try... How wrong I could be.

The new hardware is:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4
CPU: Intel i5 750 Quad Core 2.66
Memory: Patriot Viper Sector 5 1600mhz

Things I've tried with no success all with FRESH Windows 7 Installations (Yes I have reinstalled it a total of 6 times in the last 24 hours);

**Auto detect through Windows Update - Installs and says working correctly, but grayed out "Disabled" and won't enable.

**Installing the Linksys Windows 7 drivers through device manager, again Installs and says working correctly, but grayed out "Disabled" and won't enable.

**Installed the Ralink drivers and again Installs and says working correctly, but grayed out "Disabled" and won't enable.

Also randomly the PC wouldn't shut down, or uninstall drivers - soon as you unplugged the WUSB600N it completed the previously mentioned tasks.
The WUSB600N works perfectly on a Windows 7 32bit Laptop, with al the above drivers and evens connects to my SSID without any bother.

I've talked to the so called "Live support" and if I am honest "Peter" couldn't help me at all, but is going to try and find out if the P55 chipset is compatible with the WUSB600N. I'm extremely disappointed as the WUSB300N worked perfectly on Windows 7 64bit on different hardware AND that had no support, now I have the WUSB600N which does - it doesn't work!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to ask to have a CAT5 ran through the house, but so far it's looking that way.

Thanks,
DJ.

I just for a laugh tried the Vista64 drivers from Linksys Support and it worked, connected to the SSID but after about 5 minutes it just said "No Internet" and then "Limited Connectivity".

Now it doesn't work anymore after numerous restarts and and trying to "Enable" it but it just stays grayed out - I don't know if this information will help, but you never know as it's the furthest I've gotten.
